research question for paper on bitcoin

hi all, I am trying to write a paper on bitcoin as there is certainly needed more information about this topic. However I am really stuck now and cannot come up with a good research question regarding bitcoin related to economic theory.

was thinking about comparing bitcoin as a new digital kind of gold standard to the original one, but not sure how much the two have in common? also maybe look at how inflation/deflation might hurt bitcoin in the long run. Or even something about how peoples faith in "currencies" like bitcoin increase during financial crises like we see at cyprus at the moment.

any suggestions or comments are appreciated!

Have a look on google scholar, and think about continuing someones earlier work while reading the Abstract or a Conclusion
