Maybe competition is one of the factors for their slumping Alexa ranking. Campaign is still running right? 70 promoters is still a lot for a signature campaign so I don't think this is the reason why they fall out.

They have been in the bitcoin community for ages now but still the feeling that something is fishy about them hasnt gone. I think that has played an important role in people leaving the site. They used to have really good traffic for a bitcoin based poker site but now I'm not so sure.

The reason of their freefall is the slot scam. They could not pay the Glam Life slot machine winner the 500,000$ that he rightfully won. Almost everyone in this forum has now heard about the incident, and hence don't want to play in betcoin. I would say no matter what advertising betcoin does, they can never get their traffic to where it was before the slot incident.

I doubt it's free-falling. They are still quite busy if you check them out, The tables are mostly full and unlike Nitrogen, Even the bigger tables have few players in them.

They aren't as full or busy as before though and I'm sure being red and unable to use the forum did affect them [particularly not being able to obtain the new players coming to the forum, since their default red trust sticks out].

Signature being limited is probably due to them losing popularity in forum and finding it to be ineffective promotion, BTC rising up as well as decrease in overall profit, better for everyone else, Now you wouldn't need to see that red-striking painful signature all the time.

They have their queue slot in their signature campaign and it's like you need to advertise them for free and wait for a free slot before you can occupy a slot. In that way, those participants on that queue will do advertise them for free. Well it's all about the cut of expenses and maybe their profit is becoming low because of the alexa global rank and the reduce of gamblers that they got.

I don't know if Betcoin.ag is going out of business. I just know that their website has been going down on my side frequently.

The error message is likely due to a port error, I can't pinpoint the specific location because I am not Admin of Betcoin.ag.

Many users on Bitcointalk notified the Original Poster that the website was down at a certain time though I am pretty sure that the OP didn't respond to any of those posts.

I would steer clear from Betcoin.ag because of the low website up-time.

I just checked the website again and it's down, no pages are loading except for the error message.

in my opinion, it is normal to see the gambling site having reduce in alexa rank, because it is related with visitor that visit in that sites and no one will know how much visitor will comeback. i think alexa rank is not using calculation for non existing member that have been visited betcoin.ag and its mean that the number for new visitor is not much. maybe betcoin.ag doesn't make any promotion like before so their visitor is reduce and beside that, there is many gambling site has launch and if the new gambling site giving many benefits for their member, then the old sites will not survive for longer unless they make new innovation.
