Hello,
my ati 5830 very often doesn't mine at its full potential. I mine in two pools: slush and deepbit, actually I can't connect to the first one and I get this:

So, I read somewhere that probably the gpu is going to die, does anyone know/experience anything similar to me?
Thanks

  • check your temperatures (use gpu-z, msi afterbuner), and make sure it's below 90C
  • run benchmarking programs to make sure your card is stable

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I got the same problem in 2 different PCs, with 2 different GPUs, in 2 different pools. Anyway the temp is about 70°C, but actually I think the problem is due to the miner I use: poclbm; I don't have the same problem when I use cgminer.
