Hey there,

i got a

- Intel i7 6700k
- 16 gb RAM
- GTX 980M

which altcoin (should be kinda stable too) would be preferable ?
electricity cost is negligible

The only thing you'd probably earn is reduced lifespan of your laptop. They're not designed to be stressed 0-24.

But if you do want to do it check out Zcoin, that's what's hot right now for most people.

just forget about it, mining with pc or laptop isnot profitable any more. its just waste of your time and life of your notebook. try tu search other way to earn bitcoins.

input your speed into the nicehash calculator or whattomine and see for yourself

As other said mining with laptop is not really recommended and not a lot of people do it so It's really hard to find some info online about mining profits for that hardware. Just download miner and get speed. Put that into some online calculator and you will see yourself
