I have two 7970's mining away in my system. I'm having issues keeping the temps down on one of them. I believe it is the top card in my system, GPU 0. Cgminer throttles the clocks down on this to an acceptable level.

Does anyone know how I can run games off of the second GPU that isn't throttled down? This isn't a full time mining rig, it's my primary computer. For the 22 hours a day that I don't do anything for it, it happily hashes away. I'd like to know if I can tell the computer to run apps off of GPU 1 instead of the downclocked GPU 0.

Just connect your monitor to the one you want to run games from and make sure you aren't mining from it when playing a game.
