Does anyone else think that the UI isn't very straight-forward and behaves kind of limited? There's not even an option to minimize to the tray. Or what about getting a list of all your generated wallet address rather than sifting through log, upon which you actually have to open up the entry to copy the address.

1) Do you guys recommend any modern btc clients?
2) Is 0.4.1 the latest version?

I personally think multibit has the most intuitive ui of all the wallets around. That being said, it has limited coin controll features.
If you like more features, but still want an spv hd wallet, you can try out electrum
