Are there any plans to include a fiat gateway into the Iconomi platform?
it would be much smoother for non-crypto people if they could just buy into a fund from their debit card rather than having to get a hold of bitcoin first.
Yes. This is one of the main attractions of the Iconomi index. They plan to be a gateway for large investors and fund managers to invest in the crypto world with fiat. Thanks. I presume that is the case for all of the possible funds that will be created by third parties too, and not just the Iconomi Index? I believe so. The ICNX will eventually become just another fund on the open fund management platform.

The fiat trading function has to be separate. On iconomi.net it will take 2 steps to go Fiat->ETH then ETH->ICNX or other array

If ICN holders will get dividends from ICNX, ICNP, OFMP as mentioned on a previous post in this thread, what ICNX holders will earn exactly because until now I can't understand the use of ICNX and how the price for it is calculated as It looks useless except the fact that you could use it on the platform for something that I'm also not really sure of.

ICNX will be to crypto currency the same way the DOW Jones is to stocks. In other words, if you own 1 ICNX token, you are actually owning ~13 crypto currencies. Thus the value of 1 ICNX will be derived from the value of those 13 crypto currencies. The advantage to holding ICNX is diversity. Say the value of one of those 13 crypto currencies decreases, but two of them increase, the value of ICNX still goes up. The ICNX has been around since December 2016 and it has increased by 20% or so. The fiat trading function has to be separate. On iconomi.net it will take 2 steps to go Fiat->ETH then ETH->ICNX or other array I stand corrected.

Your money you invest will increase when the market raises. It cointains 12 different crypto currencies, and what you invest will be balanced among those currencies at a certain rate, depending on how valuable the algorithm finds them. With the market raising, you profit because the underlying tokens are gaining in value and are worth more. You pay 3% management fee per year, which goes to ICN holders. If you take the current performance, which is about 20% per month (in the beta, it was about 23.4% but let´s take 20 for now!), you will have 117% (20%*12-3% fee) yield per year. If you then decide to sell your ICNX out, you pay an additional exit fee of 0.10% Conclusion: You´ve gained ~117% within one year, without doing anything like reading news on currencies daily, watching charts, deciding to drop your currency in favor of another but you´ve still profited largely!

Love how his "big dump" has been "yet to come" since December, while at the same time ICN has pumped several times.
I heard a rumor that some exchanges(maybe even polo) might be behind the organized fud-ing of ICN, since they might lose some of their business to the ICONOMI OFM platform.

Of course they will dump. There's going to be lots more pumps and dumps before platform starts working, before dividend payouts and all.

*** I had the same thoughts.. but different version.. maybe Fudding to buy low and accumulate as much cheap ICN as possible before listing on Polo Time invested into that Black PR is obvious that he is paid group of trolls/shills. Most arguments are for creating fear and scary people. About Polo I think that many can happen but for team 1st priority is smoothly working platform and big customer base. When i saw yesterday 200+ people live watching stream from beta platform that means ICN have social buzz. That helps. More money in funds more money from fees. I think about buying some ICNX and ICNP because I am tired of scams and checking price all time, what is more important there is a lot of bots around and is hard to makes real buy .

Yes. This is one of the main attractions of the Iconomi index. They plan to be a gateway for large investors and fund managers to invest in the crypto world with fiat. One could say that is also one of the main reasons devs went into Iconomi project

Will Icn holders get profit via divided from ICNP too ?
Yes. 20% of realized profits from ICNP will be distributed to ICN holders. ICN holders will get dividends from 3 sources: ICNX, ICNP, and OFMP (open fund management platform). If I as ICN holder invest in all three ICNX, ICNP, and OFMP,will I get additional benefit or is holding ICN enough? Will ICNX, ICNP, and OFMP available through exchange or will there be any ICO for them too?

I wonder if someone could prove that because that would mean just one think: many people think Iconomi will succeed

I don't think so, I think this group profits by price swings due to hype (they were doing it very well on the old ICONOMI thread) and FUD. They were doing it on other projects as well (I had checked their post history).

ICN - share of Iconomi platform profits (fees from every active fund on the platform). Kind of like a share in an exchange ICNX - index-based fund, currently has 12 assets in it. Buying it is like buying eth or dash or any other alt. It goes up - your tokens are worth more. ICN holders profits - 3% annual fees from all money invested in the index fund. ICNP - actively managed hedge fund that invests in ICOs. Pre-seeded with ICO money. No option to buy into it for now. ICN holders get 20% of realized profits.
