why the price went down suddenly from 50k to 30k and now <40k...

any news?

it was overpriced. apart from investments in some ICOs there was not much progress yet and just hype and word of mouth for speculation. it is still above ICO around 100% more than ICO price, so nothing much to worry. it will increase if/when Iconomi team will release positive update about project

What do you mean overpriced, the price was just 2.5X of the ICO price before the recent dump, though I agree the price need to be driven by fundamentals instead of speculation.

if you see, Iconomi team has NOT delivered anything yet except for investment in 2-3 ICOs which you could have done too and got the returns already.
no OFM, no ICNX and INCP. cancelled the initial release. so noting but speculation so far. i wouldn't have minded if price was still around ICO levels but that's just how crypto is i guess. made me happy without delivering anything!

After such "marketing" campaign here it was obvious that some people took profit from ICONOMI and want convert it to other stuff. ; )

1) There was no updates from devs what was going on with ICN.
Original lunch from 28dec was postponed so they wanted created more usefull stuff.
For two months there was no official update. So people get nervous.
Judging for results i have to say ICONOMI have many strong hands.


I was wonder what caused that delay becouse in therms of codding IONOMI devs are good.
Whole ICO twitter points counting,sms verification stuff like that was delivered fast.
Yesterday i looked to official site and there is reason i see that one stuf what they want add is cool and difficult to do.
Now i can understand why is that delay. So they are working on something more than just buy/sell ICNX.
If you connect it to mail info then you see some bigger picture that current work in not only about ICNX.

Twitter account of iconomi is totally dead. No tweets at all. please keep tweeting atleast 3 times a week. Any tweet siting good info about crypto is fine. Pleeeaaaase!!

This is a normal thing in crypto especially when the team is looking for funding, the need to market and promote their project, now they need to focus on the platform more

I agree it can slowdown after ICOs but not like one tweet in two months. It doesn't take much time to tweet a pic of the ICN team participation in the events such as California, Florida, France, Munich, Vienna etc.
ICN needs to step up the game in terms of tweeting the updates more often.

You will not get ICNX unless you buy some. ICNX haas not been released yet.

ICNX (Iconomi index) = a basket of reputable crypto currencies, so its value will be derived from whatever those crypto currencies are worth. Like how the DOW Jones is a basket of different stocks.
ICN = a percentage ownership in ICONOMI which entitles you to the dividends that ICONOMI earns through fees from selling ICNX. ICONOMI will also collect fees from the Open Fund Management platform that will be released later.

The new thread looks so much better! I couldn't follow the old thread anymore, so much FUD. I have been on bitcointalk for 2 years and haven't seen so much effort put on FUD on any other project. It shows how important ICONOMI really is!

they would have anniunced it already if the did. santiment was something of a surprise really. its seem like being done as private investors, they aren't deciding to invest without analyzing to how they can profit so it must be a great project. santiment is unknown to me really.

Who cares, this isn't the melonport thread. Unless ICN invested in it, which I kinda hope they didn't because it doesn't look great from an ICO investors perspective IMHO (extremely inflationary and 2 years before release of anything).
