I think gox has enough problems to solve right now with their scaling problems so they will not push soon into the alt coin exchange business.

Namecoin has valorous new features.
PPC has not even solved the decentralization of the currency so it wouldn't fit at all to the decentralized currencies. At the moment it is playing in the same team as Novacoin and Ripple.

It would make most sense for dvc or another similar concept to go onto a larger exchange. Supply is not as limited, so no catalyst or reason for prices to go ballistic, greater awareness would ensure a more steady stream of bids for development transparency and collective efforts (including work on exchanges listing it) and would have most potential for price stability, which is probably the biggest problem with take up.

PPCoin has a bigger market capitalisation than Namecoin now and is the third largest coin, behind only Bitcoin and Litecoin.

PPCoin has a very active developer pushing it forward. Namecoin is dead.

Someone also tweeted magictux the mtgox programmer about PPCoin on mtgox, and magictux gave a positive hint.

People forget that although NMC is a 'coin' it's also a brilliant Domain distribution system. Once on gox not only will it get the boost it needs to continue development, but it could open an era of trully free distributed dns.
