Banning pressure cookers would just mean legal cooks would be out of pressure cookers, but the real street chefs would still get their hands on them.

It takes a village! The Second Amendment was written long before pressure cookers existed. Sure, but when the constitutional amendment was passed militias were fighting with death pots like these:

Everyone should be limited to chamber pots. Sales of pressure cookers should just require background checks and registration. If all pressure cookers required registration and were marked with a serial number, the culprit would have been caught already... Wait...

Pressure cookers are illegal if they are connected with copper tubing to a thump keg and a worm box.

we really need to make a thing out of this. bumper stickers yard signs the whole 9. Basically any time the anti-gun lobby creates some new slogan we need to replace the word gun with pressure cooker and copy it =D

Where is this strawman anti-gun lobby of yours? I have seen no legislation that would ban guns outright. Please edify me.

Where is this strawman anti-gun lobby of yours? Please edify me. http://www.bradycampaign.org/Nothing about banning guns. http://www.bradycampaign.org/aboutMission Statement We are devoted to creating an America free from gun violence, where all Americans are safe at home, at school, at work, and in our communities. The Brady Campaign works to pass and enforce sensible federal and state gun laws, regulations, and public policies through grassroots activism, electing public officials who support common sense gun laws, and increasing public awareness of gun violence. Through our Million Mom March and Brady Chapters, we work locally to educate people about the dangers of guns, honor victims of gun violence, and pass sensible gun laws, believing that all Americans, especially children, have the right to live free from the threat of gun violence. The Brady Center works to reform the gun industry by enacting and enforcing sensible regulations to reduce gun violence, including regulations governing the gun industry. In addition, we represent victims of gun violence in the courts. We educate the public about gun violence through litigation, grassroots mobilization, and outreach to affected communities.

Over on the Democrat fever swamp forum, the Moonbat Marxists openly admit the ultimate goal of 'reasonable' regulation is confiscation and prohibition. So, I'm not a gun nut, and have no real interest in guns, BUT I am a James Bond nut, and since I can afford it, I figured, hey, why don't I buy a Walther PPK just for the hell of it! Then I can dress up in fancy suits and pretend I'm James Bond, too! Then I looked at my state's gun laws, and turns out that in Maryland, you are allowed to buy a gun, you are allowed to store it in your home, but you are not allowed to have it outside of your house. At all. Not on your person, not in your car, not in a box or a safe being transported somewhere, just nowhere at all. So, yay that I can get a collector piece (I'm at least allowed to drive it from the store to my house), but seriously, wtf?

Everybody knows that the Founding Fathers froze and died for years fighting the British, for the sake of enshrining a Constitution that only applies inside your house. As soon as you step out your door, you're in a Constitution-free zone. Just like George Washington wanted it.
