I do not believe that the spread of crypto currency. Besides, where you have confidence that crypto currency is a trivial test to transfer payments in all currencies. Then the opposite would be total control of the state.

Cash is always there and it will never be replaced by cryptocurrency. But cryptocurrency especially bitcoin will be the medium online that will make enable fiat currency to travel across the world. To make it clear we dont need anymore to buy dollars and exchange it to other local fiat currency when we travel. We will just need to buy bitcoin and travel accross the world and just exchange it to any local currency depending the place we are in.

I'm still waiting and hoping for a free internet, but we are a long way from it. Somebody would have to feel charitable and donate some satellites to the cause.
I think that in the near future there will be 2 opposing groups of people. One that will continue to use the decaying banking system and maybe work to improve it, and another that will leave it for cryptocurrencies.
The old establishment will always support cash, it's going to take years for them to slowly die out and disappear, so that new people, with knowledge and experience in alternative forms of payment can take their places.

Indeed. It's a very huge convenience especially for travellers to just keep btc in their wallets. The only problem with that is that if the country they end up on doesn't recognize btc and doesn't any way to convert it to any local currencies.

I don't really believe in what will soon be a free Internet. Perhaps of course Internet access will be partially paid for by the mining and it somehow solve the problem. Nothing is free, but the ability to pay for services and do not notice it is always there.

Don't really see how this fully relates to "Politics and Society" but I guess you're trying to match the part about governments controlling the FIAT currencies in the world. Anything that you read online relating to cryptos that are going to take over the world are full of shit, it's never going to happen.

The only time I can see it happening is if it's government sanctioned by a world power such as the U.S, UK, etc. Government has a high interest in controlling the currency flow in the world, a big threat would be decentralization which they won't let occur.

First of all, at first glance that Nexus project appears to be another altcoin trying to grab money from the people and charm them with noble cause.
Free internet is a myth. We won't have free internet in the future, not anymore. Invigilation of the state is already too far-reaching.
You want to have your own satellite in space and local independent hubs? Sooner or later they either will be declared illegal to use or simply won't be different than standard internet.
