First of all you better move this to the beginners section. Second you should do your own research. Many people will tell you what coin is good in there opinion, but nobody knows what will happen. It is your money and you will make more or lose it. You have to decide. If you are not willing to invest time and energy, then people will do this for you, but you will still be the one taking the risk and lose money or in case of a profit pay them for their services. You also could just take the next best tip and invest without doing your own research, so you could blame others in case you lose, but then again why invest at all. If you rely on luck, go gamble. Have at least some fun losing your money.

I would advise you to go away and do some research on the top 30 coins. It is no good asking on a forum like this - you will simply get shills pumping for some coin or other in order to get you to buy what they want to offload.

unless you are looking for an exchange service to use not an altcoin to invest then you are posting in a wrong board. you should move your topic to speculation board.

if you want an exchange service then take a look at kraken, bitfinex, bitstamp, poloniex and bittrex

and my suggestion for altcoin is that if $50 to $500 is all your investment, in other words all you are willing to invest in trading markets then go with bitcoin 100% because it is your safest option as far as price rise and profit goes. other options have higher risks and needs you to be a trader.

if you can handle the additional risks, then invest 70% in bitcoin and the rest in multiple altcoins. litecoin and monero and ethereum are the hot coins that have big market that you can make good profit. there are lots other smaller ones but with them a higher risk also comes.
