I was scammed recently I have the scammers wallet address but don't know his company to report or try to freeze his account.

Is the way to identify his company from the wallet address?

Not really. If the funds were sent to an exchange tjough, look for an address along the line that's received a large number of inputs and see if you can search the address out that way (using a blockahin explorer and then go ogling the address).

But that'll only sometimes work probably and I'm not sure of anything else beyond that...

You won't be able to find the owner/company of that address if it was generated from non-custodial wallets there's no way to know the name of the scammer or if where he generated that wallet address.

Try to use a tool like this https://btc.com/ (maybe the wallet address of that scammer is also here on the forum.)
Then paste the wallet address to search then look for this tab(image below).



If it shows some link click that and maybe someone owns this address here on the forum so that you can report him to DT for negative trust.
