So Iconomi got dumped, who lost money?

I was considering this coin just like a lot of other potential investors and it was a total flop, the coin has dumped all the way down to high 200's, right now is at high 300's.
What the hell man? Im glad I dodged that bullet, I would have lost half of my bitcoin.
I hope it recovers but I always had my doubts about this thing.

You seems have no ideas of trading. If you would plan to buy you should have buy offers set at high 200. and you would get cheap ICONONOMI.
You could sell them now and have 15 BTC instead of 10 you had.

There has been no real dump of Iconomi during the last 3 months.
The real dump happened on 25-26 October, when the price dropped by 60%+.
Post that, the rise as well as the fall have been benign, in altcoin terms.

This. Iconomi has been quite stable. At least, if we consider ultra volatile aspect of ICOs where ever investor is only waiting to dump at the best possible moment.

yeah i also believe so, because 21k is not a bad price for the launch, lisk was 40k and wave was the same 20k, they both were pumped and dumped very fast

Pumping and dumping is quite usual in crypto. ICN has quite strong support, the current price went back to its normal position. Something similar happened to REP, and now its back to normal position in top 10 in coinmarketcap

People never learn though, alts get pumped and dumped in cycles. A coin that is alive and being developed will get lots of pumps and dumps, people that sold in the low 30s after buying in the high 40s will re-buy once this spikes again. Noobs love buying high and selling low lol...

That is what I thought, which and like I said before, is what made me not buy into the Iconomi hype, not at least until it dumps accordingly, because I don't believe this coin is magically going to grow as BTC grows. Most if not all alts, go red when BTC grows, and BTC is growing real nice and steady. PBOC crap is futile, and we are now looking at the ETF approval. If he ETF gets approved, we are looking at possible $2000+ prices, so you can imagine what will happen to the altcoin holders.

I invested in ICN right at the very beginning. I'm a bit disappointed the price dropped so spectacularly but I'm still way ahead on my initial investment and I believe ICN will come back once the Iconomi team launches a product. The important things to remember are... they didn't vanish once the crowdsale was over, and digital asset arrays are still a good idea. I'm confident the Iconomi team is still working and that ICN will regain it's lost market cap in time and eventually set new all time highs (which will subsequently crash, cuz its crypto and its volatile), I didn't sell, and it's still a good investment.

As "traders", you guys should know ICN never reached 200's... You should start learning to count zeros. it's a good first step in trading.
plus, 0.618 fib held up well, so this "astronomical" dump still pretty "normal" since the price were going up almost without retracement since 20k.

if you're not a trader, and it's just holding for the future, there's nothing to be afraid, at least not right now.
