It's hard for a coin to remain stable in the market when Bitcoin is rising in value, but I expected Iconomi to get a better performance. Anyway, it is still in the top 15 on coinmarketcap, with a relatively good trading volume.

There has been no real dump of Iconomi during the last 3 months.
The real dump happened on 25-26 October, when the price dropped by 60%+.
Post that, the rise as well as the fall have been benign, in altcoin terms.  

I wouldn't be that quick to say Iconomi [ICN] didn't have a real dump. Tell that to the people who bought at 49k sats. It's pretty straight forward to see the a new coin will have a dump when they enter exchanges and the price of ICN went wild on October 2016 because of the low volume of ICN.

If you check the volume beyond October 2016 -the volume was around 6 digits per day instead of around 5 digits per day. That is a really big difference.

I get what you're saying by not having a REAL DUMP OF ICONOMI though I can't ignore that fact of the drop from 49k sats down to 35k sats when there was around 1,000+ pages of people typing moon and rocketships throughout the thread.

I was considering this coin just like a lot of other potential investors and it was a total flop, the coin has dumped all the way down to high 200's, right now is at high 300's.
What the hell man? Im glad I dodged that bullet, I would have lost half of my bitcoin.
I hope it recovers but I always had my doubts about this thing.

You seems have no ideas of trading. If you would plan to buy you should have buy offers set at high 200. and you would get cheap ICONONOMI.
You could sell them now and have 15 BTC instead of 10 you had.

People never learn though, alts get pumped and dumped in cycles. A coin that is alive and being developed will get lots of pumps and dumps, people that sold in the low 30s after buying in the high 40s will re-buy once this spikes again. Noobs love buying high and selling low lol...

Many dev's have let their coin die or announced it's dead then mysteriously came back later relaunching it.. or "community take over"
The Memory Coin / MEM dev FreeTrade did that before he went on to Protoshares and Bitshares etc
Think about it..
Kill the coin dead so it's almost delisted at 1 sat.. buy them up quietly then re-launch and re-hype.

Its not actually a dump since it do decrease its price but not on the lowest price as possible and if you purchase ICN on a higher price point then you will decide if to hold or sell off to cut losses i dont think this coin will last it would depend on its devs and the community who do use it.

Alright, you could keep telling yourself that while I pull up that dog picture for you just so you could open your eyes that a dump did actually happen.

The coin might have a future, I haven't got a clue if the dev's are interested in the price going up for the investors sake to be honest. Maybe people just like losing money for no reason, idk -it doesn't matter one bit to me.

Don't worry about pump and dump, it is said that there is intentional FUD in their thread, they locked it and made a new one. The price is ok, because ico price is 21k sat, but now is still 33k sat. Nothing wrong, keep holding.

I think it is just fluctuating of price and all of the coins always has fluctuating,
it is good for trading altcoins because of fluctuating we can take profit.
Although it is high risk because will be losing money but we can doing cut lost
and fluctuating of price is needed.

well.. in last half hour price dropped again big time. WTF is up with this shit ?! There was "professional" FUD on the ICN thread on bitcointalk. Someone is really really trying hard to scare people into dumping coins for cheap. ICONOMI has the advantage of being the first mover so I am guessing they are going to be in for a long haul. Just need to hodl while this FUD cycle ends

FUD or without FUD, if Iconomi [ICN] can't survive a few people posting negative comments on the coin without the people accusing other people that their posts is what caused the dump then the high price of ICN doesn't really have a chance to rise. Think about it, the price is at 0.00031053 BTC at this moment and if the dump just caused the price to move from 0.00037699 BTC within roughly 20 hours then you would think that only a few people hold a large amount of ICN and they are manipulating the price.

The price of Iconomi was 0.00045965 BTC on Feburary 10th, 2017 (7 days ago). Looks like a dump to me.

It bottomed at 275, now we are at 345... good or bad? we'll see, im not buying, because BTC is showing signs of being a total god of crypto that always recovers from every dip, and looks like we are at the verge of a new all time high + massive pump peak of unprecedented price. I don't think people is going to dump their moon tickets for some altcoins.

If you have some altcoins that think will pump while BTC rises I want to hear that but i dont think a single one will.
