Hey everyone i am new to this mining thing and i use guiminer but i cant get both my graphics cards to mine at the same time.

i have an alienware m17x laptop with 2.0ghz core2 quad 9400 integrated with 2 260m's sli

thanks just need some help to get the 2 260's to run together

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

In GUI Miner do you only se one card available from the dropdown ?

If you look at this guide, you can see the Device section inside GUI miner :

https://mineco.in/beginners_guide_to_pooled_bitcoin_mining

It should show all of your cards there.

If it's not, then the reason is probably because you need to plug a monitor into the second card and it should appear.
