It happened after school hours, but the Alex Jones-types will claim it's because the pressure cooker didn't go off on time.

Also, this idiot who sat in his car near the plant while it was on fire (before/unintentionally during the explosion), WITH his young daughter in the car. They are very lucky to have survived. (Can you even embed YT videos here?) http://youtu.be/ROrpKx3aIjA

"And what the enemy will see, they will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!"

The good news in all this is that there are fewer Texans tonight than there were last night.

This is offensive. It would be like saying that the good news about the 15th's bombing was that there are fewer Bostonians. You're celebrating people's death based on nothing more than where they lived. Disgusting.

That is not like making fun of their sports teams or politics, because there is no "fun" involved.

It's A-OK to mock the death of worthless, inbred hicks in racist, backward flyover states, especially Texas (KKK/lynching/gun nut/death penalty/patriarchy/fossil fuel/pro-life/family values capital of the world). But it's completely beyond the pale to mock the death of enlightened, progressive, cosmopolitan coastal elites such as Bostonians or New Yorkers. There isn't a single decent wine bar in the town of West, much less a good deli. It's better their suffering ends sooner than later. Them's the rules on DemocratUnderground and DailyKos, so clue up son!

(Can you even embed YT videos here?) http://youtu.be/ROrpKx3aIjABeing close to a fire is never a good thing but... they really were not that close and the explosion was amazingly powerful. There have been fires I have been closer too then that and I just stayed and watched too. I know better now.

By the way, my entire extended family, including parents, are from the Sherman–Denison and Eastland-Cisco area (yes, that’s in Tex-ass).

Well, that explains it. Don't judge an entire state based on your family. Not all Texans have inbred for generations. In fact, I'd wager most have not.
