We already have a thread over here http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17310.0 but a few people have messaged me saying they cannot reply to the topic, so I've posted here so Newbies can get involved, and ask questions!

Mineco.in 0% Tax Mining Pool

Pool Features (with explanations for newbies)

  • Latest versions of all software (Less stale information sent to your miner)
  • Long Polling enabled (this improves your connection to the pool)
  • 0% Tax on the pool (all the rewards for the found block go to the users)
  • SSL Certificate on the web interface (so your information won't get stolen)
  • Automated Payouts (money will get sent to your bitcoin wallet automatically)
  • Pretty graphs for your miners

Please feel free to ask any questions here, or join us in IRC for a chat!

That would be nice - it feels like the bitparking pool might be getting a little bit too concentrated.  Always nice to see the hash power get spread around a little bit.

We are giving away a 5BTC Bonus to whomever finds our first block! This won't be taken from the pool reward, but from my personal wallet!

Please visit http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17310 for more information

I'd be very interested in the NameCoin pool as well. Need more pools so everybody isn't pointed at the same one causing it to become overloaded and unstable with a high stale share ratio. I replied to the other thread about throwing some hashing power your way this afternoon.

I'm afraid the 5BTC has been claimed!

I may offer more rewards for future blocks Cheesy

I'm also considering adding a 0.5BTC finders reward for all blocks!

Please read this - it should get you sorted : https://mineco.in/beginners_guide_to_pooled_bitcoin_mining

2.8Mh/Sec is very very low - you sure that's your GFX card ?

You're probably using your CPU to mine? Short answer: don't ;-)  Use your GPU.

Yep, make sure you are selecting your Graphics Card to mine, not your CPU!

Dear Admin,

This was in the newbie section for a reason - so newbies can reply Wink

Feel free to move it back to the newbie section or just archive it if you'd prefer.
