No, they have a maintenance page, usually that is what is shown when they have scheduled down time.

That's a real nightmare, seems that bitcoins are becoming a much bigger target lately.

Stupid thing is that hackers will destroy the whole set up and then how are they going to profit??

What that means? All of our BTC's are gone? Because I read in another post that some people lost his BTC by unknown transactions. This can be for this attack?
