Hey. Guys i am putting my bitcoin exchange up for sale.
It have 3 trading pairs. BTC,ETH and ETC.
Please note these pairs are testnet. SO, ONLY USE TESTNETS!!!!!

BTC is fully functional and  ETH and ETC are under construction.
I am tired of working on it. That is why i am putting it up for sale.

All address will be unlocked after a week. For a week long Open house. So, you can test everything and buy it if you like.
Finally if you like it, just open a ticket on the exchange saying you would like to purchase it.

Hey Guys forgot to tell you tell you something eles. USD or any other currceny in the world is supported. All you need to do is bring your own ACH solution. I would recommend Dowalla for U.S. There is a built in concosle to update the users balance. All the withdraws and Deposit have to be done manually for the users Security.

Can you provide more information about the exchange that you are selling, like the backend how is it developed, what language?

Have you tested it if it has any bug or any backdoor because 1BTC is too cheap for a good exchange?

I'm interested to know what engine are you using and other useful information.

It is based on Ruby on Rails. You will need Nigix, Pusher and a MailGun.
The reason I am selling it for so cheep is because I really need the money, and i don't have money to advertise and buy users.
Finally this is not a fully 100% working exchange. It is working 90%.
You will have to add other crypto's on it. Eth and Etc are working but few bugs need to be sorted out.
If i can sell enough copies i will fix it for you guys for free.

But you can't sell an exchange's source code to multiple people??!! That would make the exchange unsecure, since many people have access to it and can sell it to even more people, making it vulnerable. I would say almost everyone who want to start an exchange, program it themselves or hire a trusted and established programmer to do the job. That is, because an exchange handles loads of customers' money and needs to be 100% safe. Paying a high price to a professional programmer should ensure the code is safe and closed-source, unlike yours.

You are essentially selling multiple copies of an exchange with bugs??

Yes. You can. Since the in order to run the exchange. You will have to give up your anonymity.
Because you will have to register for different services that the exchange runs on. And every exchange have a different api key. That i will provide. If someone was to resell it. All i have to do is revoke it.
And when you are about to start a exchange. You need to take the security very seriously. You will have to test everything out.
Most importantly make sure your server is very very secure.
What i am selling is just a starter kit. You can do whatever you want with it.

Nooo. You can't resell the source code.
If say 5 people have a copy of the source code and are running successful exchanges. A 6th person comes along and thinks "I'll buy than and use computer analysis to determine its bugs" - once a bug is found, it is used on all of the successful and legit exchanges to extract money from them.

If someone was to resell it. All i have to do is revoke it.
And when you are about to start a exchange. You need to take the security very seriously. You will have to test everything out.

No matter how well something is tested, there are still bugs.
Bitcoin itself will still have bugs that are undetected (maybe not bugs that can be manipulated by current computers, but super computers and any quantum computer may be able to manipulate them.

So you're selling a skeleton of a site? Which is not really too useful unless you're looking for an example of how an exchange site code could look.

Only time i heard this was when I was looking at what everybody was talking about bitcoin unlimited and that separate part of the blockchain. But then I got side tracked.

So can you explain why does it operate this way and not on the blockchain?

Because Peatio was never finished and it is plagued by bugs. If you download it today you can see for it for yourself. I have redone the entire thing. Adding fully supported banking support, which it didn't have before. Added Etherium & Etc. Which is not available anywhere, if you decide to work on this project.  And this is just starching  the surface. The trade engine by default doesn't work, Even BTC deposit and Withdraw doesn't work, manually allowing and stopping withdraws.

You can switch to mainnet once sold:))
Testnets are only there to test what you are buying actually works.
Finally so, ppl don't get scammed.

The first part of that is definitely accurate.
The main problems people recieved on the issues page was the fact that the software was abandoned as it became to difficult for them to program (and now to difficult for anonymous as well).

Selling the source code more than once is not preferred and it's likely you are focused only to get profit as much as possible.

But from the buyer side it is very dangerous because you are exposing the bugs to others which could affect the main exchange.

Anyway I wish you good luck and try to sell only once (with mostly no bugs)
