Yes there are things that can make us harm when doing arbitrage because it is very risky since there is only few gap between the price of the coin from one exchanger to another. Once, i encountered a problem when doing arbitrage is when i bought a 20k satoshi gap for the price and after i successfully transfer it, the price already dump. So that is one of the negative effect of arbitrage if you the coin is not strong funded on its current price but for me, arbitrage is very challenging yet profitable.

A lot of the gap among the exchange site. although that's will good for the altcoin which has a fast transaction speed rather than btc but not for btc in my mind. with a long time to wait for the confirmation and already make the arbitrage method is not profitable.

Actually high deposit/withdraw fees in exchanger where price is comparatively lower than other trading platform is main problem. For example btc-e price stay always lower than market price, currently it is 1030$ there while market price is 1049$. However with very high deposit/withdraw fees/limits btc-e have you can't make any good profit with arbitrage trading there. Same goes to other trading platform, you need to have lots of bankroll in both trading platform if you like to do some arbitrage.

arbitrage is riskier than regular trading where you buy low and sell high. and it doesn't matter what i do, what matters is what you can and can't do.
in arbitrage trading you need to act fast in some cases and you need to be running fast bots with minimum latency in order to be able to do it successfully and make any profit.
and for that you also need a big spread among price in different exchanges and that is usually rare.

my problem with arbitrage is the time delay to see the coins is arrived into destination wallet and i have this bad experience in the past. the coins arrive into my other wallet and suddenly the price is drop too far so i can sold it and get the profit, the only one that i can is i should waiting for next up price so i can sold my coins. but it need to long to see the up price and if i've got this, sometimes i'll cut loss my coins so i can minimize my loss not too deep.

I agree on you. The buying and selling is fast and its easy to automate with bot,
However, the difficulty is transferring non-bitcoin to and from other exchanges.
Imagine if you buy bitcoins in US and sell somewhere else, let say China or India
Getting this converted and transferred back to the US will incurred transfer fees.
In the end, even a 1% or 10% price difference might not be worth running the
arbitrage cycle because its hard to deal with exchanges in other countries.

Indeed, sometimes arbitrage taking the advantage of pricing anomalies in the trading market on which can harm us. And we cannot rely on it  100% because it always benefits the trading market. Meaning we should be more faster than a bot for us to make profit anyhow.

the biggest problem in arbitrage trading is always going to be the price difference and the fees involved with the process of doing this type of trading.
and it is very easy to calculate these things too.
just open up an excel spreadsheet and put in the price of first an second exchange for buy and sell bitcoin and also check out their fees and include those too. then make the trade in excel with numbers and see the final result.

As I understand from the comments, the problems that arise when arbitraging are basically the same.

* Money transfer fees
* Transaction fees on trading sites
* Time of transfer of money

Basically, we have to pay attention to these things. The money transfer fee and the transaction fee are things that are under our control. So we can calculate the transaction and transfer fees when we get an arbitrage opportunity with high profits.

But the problem is the transfer time. So if money transfer does not happen when we want it, we will miss the arbitrage opportunity.

By applying it, I think it will be complicated especially if you are in the actual trading in the exchange sites you need to be active in monitoring the price in the trading platform. Once the price is getting down, then you get bought it in the high value because all of a sudden dumped was happened it can be called as worst or one of the disadvantage of arbitrage.

That's the real problem and bitcoin not fit anymore to trade in arbitrage, because the transaction volume increased significantly.

I think altcoin is good to trade in arbitrage, besides the transaction volume is not much as bitcoin, the range price also sizeable, it's decreased the risk.

Your title says arbitraj while its arbitrage in opening post. Anyways doing arbitrage is easy but requires immense patience and skill because you cannot just expect the price to go up and down very constantly and if the price goes in one direction only then you can't do much.

Yes, finding arbitrage possibility would be a testing for our patience. I did this few times.

The difficulty I faced would be delay due to required number of bitcoin confirmation and withdraw / deposit process approval from exchange admins. I believe if we have sufficient funds in different exchanges then we can do arbitrage trading without getting delays.

Instead of looking for arbitrage trading, I have come to a conclusion other trading would get me more profits in the given time.

In my experience while doing trade in the exchange site platform, once the arbitrage move the traders act as quick than a Flash, because if you didn't and can't do that it  will be a problem in which can affect us in this circumstances which is most of the time when doing the transaction fee there is a problem because of the arbitrage.
