the gpu does not go into boost.
if I just run the miner EWBF then the card works at the frequency of base 1506 MHz. if in parallel I run benchmark furmark and run the test, and then close it, but the program itself won't close, then the gpu goes into boost and it continues to operate at a frequency of 1850 MHz. why is the miner himself can not force to work gpu boost?
This is because some other program is blocking it. Shut down chrome and even some tray apps and the boost will be working again. For me Chrome and game launchers are doing this (GOG, Ubisoft, keyboard controller).
