If you're going to return the subscription amount on alpha release, then what is the point of collecting the subscription amount at all? Just to gauge interest in the project and hold people's BTC for some unspecified amount of time? Why would anyone trust you to return the BTC when you are asking for it to be sent directly to you and not held in escrow?
