It was down for me - I'm in the UK - and a friend in Australia. Back now it seems.

Never once had a problem logging in, ( from Australia) so it may be a bandwidth problem or you need to check your firewall settings.

Seems to me Gox gets a lot of bad press, that could be attributed to user error,rather than failings on the part of Gox, including latency.

Seems to me Gox gets a lot of bad press, that could be attributed to user error,rather than failings on the part of Gox, including latency.


They themselves announced it -

"UPDATE 2: We can confirm that the problems are/were caused by a strong DDos, but we are on it with Prolexic and... http://t.co/kt4lSCVMRI"

Can access, but not login.
Maybe the API is functions and bots are happily trading?

Getting 502 Bad Gateway when attempting to go onto site.


BTC-e troll-box is saying that all exchanges are getting DDos.

All exchanges except of course BTC-e.com. hmmmmmm.
