Okay I am going through that stage where I want to mine on everything possible even my shit smart phones. And I was thinking I have an HD PVR. I don't really understand how capture cards really work but I was wondering if it is possible to mine with on somehow I would assume it being similar to a GPU it has some sort of processing. Maybe some one could explain it to me. I will probably get laughed at but it popped in my head and I had to ask.
No you can't mine with a capture card. Needs to be a GPU.
Right now you will make $1/per day/per GPU.
Every month down the road the profits will be lower and lower since there are more and more miners.
