hey all, figured i would start a new newbie topic. picked this as i didn't see anything like it right away.
anyways here goes
Hashrate: 120-135Mh/s GPU: Asus HD Radeon 7750 1GB. Overclocked from 800Mhz/1100Mhz to 900Mhz/1300Mhz respectively (maxed out CCC:Overdrive options) Cpu: will fill when new cpu is installed in day or two. currently sitting with an amd athlon II dual core at 3.4 Ghz
hoping to up my hashrate by upgrading my gpu to a 7990 soon. and hopefully the new 8 core "vishera" 4.0Ghz amd am3+ cpu will help bring in some name/terra/lite coins in while i mash away at bitcoins as well. anyone who can build and sell a 1gh/s asic miner. pm me.

Club3D Radeon HD 7970 royalQueen with 925 MHz GPU, running at 1160 MHz on top of a PCI express 1.0 x16 lane. Average hashrate 650 MH/s. Edit: I suggest buying a 7970 with the GPU clocked higher in the factory than 925 MHz. Forgot to check my MHz when I bought it but I still expect to earn back the money in at least 6 months, being somewhat sceptical.

ya, im almost wondering if i should wait till the 8000 series comes out and get the 8650 when it is available. but then it probably still wouldnt get the hashrate of like lets say a 7990.... or 7970 ghz edition.

I've been mining Litecoin recently, and I get a hash rate of about 2500kH/s. Unfortunately, one of my GPU's is still RMA'd and on its way...

Gigabyte 7870. I can get 350MH. I haven't overclocked so I could probably get a bit more.

I would really like some help. I've been through both guides (SCRYPT-README and a thread on here) I could find and I can't seem to get my 7970 above 600 khs for litecoin mining. I look at the hardware comparison and supposedly people are getting 750 khs even at a far lower clock rate than I'm able to put in. A little frustrating.

7970 at 1080mhz hashing 620
That was my hash rate before flashing to a higher voltage BIOS- I'm assuming you're using one of the newer 7970s? I used to game with Nvidia, and as much as I like my hash rate with ATI/AMD, it pisses me off that they've practically locked down the voltage on all the new boards...

I'm using these settings on my 7970: cgminer.exe -w 256 --thread-concurrency 28672 --gpu-engine 1120 --gpu-memclock 1780 -I 13 --auto-fan --scrypt
and I get 600 khs. I've tried all sorts of combinations. Is that really the best it can do or am I missing something?

LTC? Yes, mining LTC (thus the --scrypt in the setting).
