This is quite a weak attempt to link the EU to Nazism.  Nazis do still exist and I think that some people ignore their existence or pretend that the problem is solved in a bid to be nasty to Muslims as if Nazism started with the Holocaust, but this speculation is based on arguments about the state's authority, which does not denote Nazism, only authoritarianism.

I find it quite inconsiderate to all the people who have been victims of actual Nazis over the years to remove the legitimacy of the term by linking it to any relevant groups and trying to act as if it's "news" or that Nazis have been around for ages.
