I agree with you, bitcoin might go back down again in price to 500$ per coin if this series of dump continues without stopping and pumping to 1000$ again. If that happens, the price right now was not a good price to buy into but if it will rise, the price now is a good point to buy more bitcoin and enter bitcoin for those who dont have any yet. I personally think it can rise again but let's wait and see what will happen.

Bitcoin is at a great price now 920, but I do think long term it will get to 1400 no problem. People are just scared of bitcoin without much more then emotion. I'm in long term and overall it will go back up. The question is if there are other coins like ETH that could potentially go up faster (just like the run this past 2 weeks). But in my mind, alt coins are higher risk.

we can trying to buy now as the price is down to deep and maybe it will getting down again. but to trying with altcoin, its great opportunity for us because there is many altcoin that getting pump so we can trying to follow the coins and i think we can make profit like other traders. i think altcoins is not higher risk because if we are get dump, then i am sure, in one day, the price will be back and sometimes it will reach new price.

China is waiting and they will do there moves to increase and will back the bitcoin into normal price. As long as there isn't any decent solution being proposed and supported, these BU shills/trolls that you are talking about will continue to spread their poisonous ideology. It's what they get paid for after all.... I know it's quite difficult with a huge influx of BU and fork threads where these trolls constantly show up, but just ignore them. In most cases it's always the same group of people trying to derail threads. Don't let them ruin your browsing experience.

Good for you that you managed to buy yourself some coins below the $900 level, but there isn't anything at this point that will push the price towards the $1400 level any time soon. Market movers and other large traders hold a defensive stance until we have finally overcome this destructive scaling nonsense. It has taken long enough now, SegWit should get activated by force, and not by reaching an impossible support level of 95%.

That was a really good price to buy bitcoins as after that dump price started to increase and you are already into profits now and I think 1400 price will be achieve in this year and may be it can go beyond that in the end of the year.

I think Bitcoin will rise to 1300 then take a pause and come down again and then start to rise again. I feel 1500-2000$ is a reality cause with tensions escalating with China and North Korea it's possible that a war or a mini war may break out. And the popularity of Bitcoin has just increased since start if 2017.Japan has already out in a law for the effect and I forsee other Asian countries to put a law very soon to that effect. And that will give a push to the prices upwards.

People indeed suffer from regular spam attacks, but this won't miraculously change when SegWit has been activated.

Spamming the network will only become more expensive to do, and that's basically it. SegWit as it is right now, is just a temporary solution.

In order to prevent the same drama as we experience right now, SegWit has to offer something that will last longer than just a year.

That's why I find it important to keep the standard 2MB blocks, but include an optional 1MB increase that can be activated manually if the demand asks for it.

We should leave it to the time and time will take best care of it instead of thinking too much about the price of bitcoins so the best thing would be to accumulate more coins as and when possible and simply sit and watch the price movements and take your decisions accordingly.
