Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm on auto-notify for both cheap models of 5830 from newegg, didn't get an e-mail, but I refresh a search screen a couple of times a day to check on stock. I got lucky this time.

I got 3 as well. At least, I think I did. Charged, but not yet shipped. It was a total impulse buy. I don't have anywhere to put them, and I don't just mean pcie slots. The mrs will not be pleased when the UPS guy shows up.
