Okay, so I have a few questions. I am trying to become verified on MT Gox to withdraw some money. When I put the money in being verified was not a requirement. I have completed the questions on the AML Verification page, but it still says I have only partially completed it. It says I need to add address information. I have uploaded a utility bill with my address but there is no where to type in anything. Am I missing it somehow? I tried asking the AML team directly, but I have sent two emails, one on the 8th, and one again on the 12th, and have had no response. I am having no luck getting verified. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also is there an alternative to MT Gox to safely sell bitcoins and get the cash into fiat?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Can't help you with the AML questions, however:

Also is there an alternative to MT Gox to safely sell bitcoins and get the cash into fiat?

The factors that matter for any cash-out decision are:

 - Where are you located (country)?
 - How much are you looking to trade?
 - What type of cash are you looking to receive?
 - How soon do you need access to the proceeds?
 - Is privacy important?

A fairly comprehensive list of cash-out options is:

Did you use email to send the questions or did you use the support desk form? It may make a difference since the support desk form creates a ticket number that is linked to your account. If you did contact them through the support form, then it is what it is.

Your number in the verification queue will tell you how close you are to being verified.

I made a mistake with their form when I filled it out and now no way to change it. I emailed them immediately but didn't hear back. So I'm stuck in the queue for two weeks and just have to hope I'm not back at the end of it again when it's done if I have to fix something.
