Heisenberg Hex

Heisenberg Hex is a modern scrypt crypto-coin that is a descendant of litecoin. It uses a proof of work scheme, and will be rapidly distributed by way of a rapidly decreasing reward mechanism that follows a hexadecimal pattern. The later stages are designed in such a way as there will still be an incentive to mine, and therefore keep the network active, into the future, while still providing a strong incentive to mine as soon as possible in the early stages. The good news is that we have adapted by becoming an open organization.

Initially Heisenberg Hex provides 512,000 coins per block, with a 50% chance of each block rewarding miners with 1028000 coins instead. Each time the block reward changes, the standard block size, as well as the chance of hitting a super block, will decrease.

The size of a super-block, however, is static, at 1028000 coins, and will remain so, throughout the entire life-cycle of the coin. Full details of the hexadecimal descending reward structure can be found below!

Reward Structure: Rapidly Decreasing Hexadecimal Spiral

    512,000 coins per block, with a 50% of finding 1028000 for the first day
    512,000 coins per block, with a 25% of finding 1028000 on the second day
    256,000 coins per block with a 12.5% of finding 1028000 for the next 2 days
    Reports have come in that this entire section of the spiral failed to manifest.
This means that HeisenbergHex may end up having 2,214,720,000
( approx 2.215  BILLION) LESS coins than the intended total.
    128,000 coins per block with a 6.25% of finding 1028000 for the next 4 days
    56,000 coins per block with a 3.125% of finding 1028000 for the next 8 days
    32,000 coins per block with a  1.56% of finding 1028000 for the next 16 days
    16,000 coins per block with 0.78% of finding 1028000 for the next 32 days
    8,000 coins per block, with a 0.39% of finding 1028000 for the next 64 days
    4,000 coins per block, with a 0.0195% of finding 1028000 for the next 128 days
    2,000 coins per block, with a 0.00975% of finding 1028000  for the next 256 days
    FINAL STAGE:1000 coins per block, with a 0.00487% chance of finding 1028000,  in perpetuity, until all coins have been mined.
Expected length of this stage is 1.5 - 3 years, ensuring that the coin will remain viable into the future.


Other Specifications
Total coins will be 23 Billion (23,000,000,000)
It looks like this total MAY have been reduced by 2.15 Billion coins, due to the failure of the 2 day, 256000/block part of the spiral.
This means that HEX will now have 20.85 billion coins instead of the original total of 23 Billion.
