  • Do you have that gigantic CSV file you need resorted into an arcane text format?
  • Do you have scientific data you need help reforming/resorting?
  • Do you need numerical analysis of your data but you don't have expertise in software

You are not alone!  Many people struggle with larger files in Excel and other data editors and managing that data in a meaningful fashion. But this is a solved problem. The computer can become Your Friend.  Grin

Let me introduce the computer to you, via the mechanism of custom software to solve your problem!

I am jhoki - for the purposes of this announcement - and I am announcing that I will perform smaller services in data manipulation, transform, and analysis for hire.

In particular, I am offering to write the source code (and documentation!) that you can run on your data to get meaningful results back without fighting your computer.

If you have that data but not the expertise, I can help.  Let's do this together.

Send me a PM on the bitcoin board if you are interested.  Replies can take several days.

just a suggestion: before you resort to doing 'custom software' consider using existing software for data shaping/analysis, such as R, for example (and it's foss, to boot!)
teaching people to use an existing data analysis sw is probably more useful than teaching them how to use your custom software. Smiley

Whatever the appropriate tool the user prefers.

Some people don't have expertise in analysis packages and programming them.
