Hi,

I am a french beginner with Bitcoin transaction.

Since this morning, a friend sent some bitcoins to another wallet but the transaction is still unconfirmed : https://blockchain.info/en/tx/4dbe747044f6dd930b6d9b95aa71b7148d8acabab3cc3510f015cd076fd4ef8a?show_adv=true

Have you an idea concerning this problem ? Will the bitcoins arrive ?

Thank you for your help / time.

Best, regards

You/your friend set the transaction fees too low.
You could try this transaction accelerator to fix this
Look here or enable "dynamic transaction fee" setting in order get the right fee.

There are two problems with this transaction. First, it spends from another unconfirmed transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/fe448ce6e1f8b1f706c33c28c2286d6fedcfc3cc1a5077353d7f8124b4d3dfde which means that it won't be able to confirm until this transaction confirms as well. Secondly both of these transactions have a low transaction fee.

Your only options are to wait and hope it confirms, wait for the transaction to be "forgotten" by the network, or ask a miner to confirm it for you.

For the third option, you can contact the users Quickseller and macbook-air. You can also try using https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ to "accelerate" your transaction.

Thank you both for your answer.

So, how many, in the futur, shiuld we use for secure transaction ?

Does these accelerators really work ?

Thanks again !

(Have you an idea of how long does it take to confirm this kind of "low-fees" transaction ?

Best regards,

Best regards,

As achow pointed out, you have to wait for the transactions into your address to confirm before you can send tese other transaction.
For a fast transaction, you should check the recommendation in my previouspost of the https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ website.

You can always ask the users here as there are at least three transactions that need confirming here so asking users here might make it a bit faster.
