ETF - Will be approved or not? Price will grow up anyway?

"This is still up in the air.  The SEC has until March 11th to make their final decisions, but speculators have already begun buying bitcoins in anticipation of the fund being approved.  There is also a prediction market on Bitmex.com that lets traders use bitcoin to bet on whether or not the ETF will be approved, so many people are using that instrument as a sentiment indicator.   The SEC has delayed their decision twice already, in order to gather more information for the decision.  However, March 11th is the final deadline for SEC to deny the ETF.  If the fund is not rejected by then, it is expected that investors will be able to trade bitcoin on the NYSE within weeks.   If this occurs, anywhere from $300 million to $1 billion dollars could be injected into the bitcoin marketplace very rapidly, which will send the price surging up to new highs.  For this reason, speculators have already begun buying bitcoin so that they can lock in profits before the SEC makes their final decision."

My questions :
1.) If ETF will not approve bitcoin then NYSE will do it in next weeks? So price will explode anyway? Do I am right?
2.) If ETF will approve bitcoin they will pump 300-1000 milions dollars in bitcoin so price will explode also? Do I am right?
3.) Anything happen price will explode. If I understand everything correctly right?

I don't think the ETF is going to be approved at all due to the intense risk and volatilitiy that comes with Bitcoin but if it is approved, I think it's just going to add more volume to the already high amount of trading that occurs in the USD/BTC marketplace.

Pumping 300-1000million dollars is a bit insane of something to say from an ETF that will be new right on the first day of trading. I still don't feel the price will explode and I think people are using this as the false narrative to get more people to buy BTC at the moment.

Price will stay stable, maybe a little pump then dump.

If SEC approved its ETF, we will see a big leap in bitcoin price. I know a lot skepticism coming from Wall Street analyst regarding the approval, but I still hope it will and once approved, a lot of capital worth millions  would flood bitcoin ecosystem and such influx will cause the price to leap  to skyrocket price.

Approved or not of ETF by sec will pump up the price of bitcoin for many reasons especially the leverage and speculative traders. Bitcoin/ USD is oready trading above $1130 as at today because of anticipation of what will happen on 11-3-2017. My speculation is this if ETF is approved the price will pump up above $2000 and if it not approve the bitcoin will move but not as high as when it is approved.

Analysts have mentioned that the growth will spike if ETF is approved, at the same explains that the ongoing price increase is taking place without any external influences. It is the gradual increase that's happening, so as the thread sure the price will grow up continuously.

but it would also help regulate bitcoin in USA right? does ETF operate in USA only or it's like coinbase that have many country? if it can help regulation between many customers from different part of the world, i think it can help bitcoin to grow better, and while you lose decentralization, you gain adoption, isn't this good? i think yes

That is the reality. Bitcoin doesnt need an approved ETF so it will increase in Price, with or without the ETF bitcoin will continue to grow in value. ETF posts are just made to deceive people that ETF will play a significant effect or impact to the bitcoins price. In the end let us not panic or be affected by those misleading news, bitcoin is fine as it is now with or without ETF.

It is only your speculation about what will happen on that date march 11, 2017. But many of the community here are thinking positive about it. I will include myself too, I know whatever will be bitcoin will still go on and look forward unto it and many of the people will continue give the high demand.

It's hard to think if ETF will be approved or not but if it will be approved of course we know what will happen, it will make the price pump.

And if it will not be approved, I guess bitcoin will remain the same on its current price and it's like normal.

But I want this to be approved and let's see for ourselves and just wait until that day comes, March 11.

Well I'm really not expecting any huge change in price should it not be approved. People would continue to buy bitcoins on their own even without the ETF. If it passes though, that could be a different situation. This would allow people to get into bitcoin without having to own bitcoins themselves. I suppose this would really open bitcoin to the public, increasing the adoption rate. It would be mostly for the good of the government though. Probably the only benefit it would have for existing bitcoin holders would be some price increase as more bitcoins are bought. Not everyone might be happy with this though, since many people are still aiming to get at least 21 bitcoins.

Well in my own opinion, I don't see any changes that will happen even if ETF is approved the only thing we will see is just the initial shock for the market to adjust to recent happenings and after that, everything will be back to normal but the part of the approval is what I am skeptical about in the sense that, something that has not be expressly accepted as a legal tender is now to be traded on the stock market ...

If the COIN ETF is approved it will trade on BATS not the NYSE. I have seen estimates of 30 to 45 days to get the fund listed for sale once approved. If not approved the SolidX bitcoin ETF could be approved on March 30 but doubtful if COIN is turned down. To some extent I think the market is pricing in approval of COIN so if it is denied I expect a drop of 10 to 15% in bitcoin price which would provide a buying opportunity. If approved everyone agrees bitcoin price will surge. I think we could see $1800 to $2000 short term.

Like you said, there is absolutely a huge speculation going on. Someone is buying shit loads of coins like its going to be approved. It is not healthy for bitcoin to rise that much in such a short time.

I'm telling my friends who missed out on sub $1000 bitcoin to place buy limit orders at $980 in case COIN is denied. It could happen.
