[ANN] BitEther Coin (BEC) - a cross-mining coin on Ethereum Classic (ETC)

BitEther is a token built on top of existing smart contract technology of Ethereum Classic. It rewards ETC miner with an additional token (BEC) - miner receives two rewards, by doing same amount of job. Ethereum Classic is a PoW chain, original chain left after Ethereum Foundation made their fork.

BitEther follows Bitcoin monetary supply, with 21M coins total, halving each 3 years and 50% distribution by year 2019. 99% will be distributed by year 2034, as about same time as for Bitcoin. Reward is 2 BEC coins per ETC block, which is comparable to 50 BTC per 10 minutes.

This an experimental coin designed to demonstrate abilities of Ethereum Classic blockchain and to incentivize Dapp developers to add additional value to chain and to improve network security.  

BEC follows ERC20 specification for custom tokens on Ethereum Classic, which makes it compatible with most of existing wallets and software on Ethereum Classic blockchain. Also a standard token for Ethereum Classic wallet.

Main features that it’s a first coin of that class in Ethereum Classic, it have familiar economic capabilities, and can be a base layer for future development in that field.

So you were mining ETC and as it started dumping you wanted to create a coin to parallel mine and dump on others to make ETC mining more profitable?

You say you want to experiment with ETC to demonstrate the DAPP and sidechain abilities.... WHY are you making a new coin with no REAL purpose. Just create a Dapp dude. Fkn google DAPP and there are tons of great ideas you can shoot for.

Hope you don't mean ethereum examples because there are exactly zero good ideas on ethereum chain right now. And they are not dapps on ethereum, since ethereum is centralized fraud (https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereumfraud/), they are just apps there, slow expensive apps for no reason.

afaik Jaxx doesn't support ERC20 tokens yet, so I don't recommend to use Jaxx for BEC at this point (jaxx works for ETC though)
