Philosophy is THE search for knowledge. It is the only way to gain knowledge about the world around you. Philosophy is the prove that people is superior from the other mammals animals.
I think that philosophy will always be topical and at the same time timeless.People are incomplete and with disgusion,questions and generally  discussion people become more open-minded and less xenophobic.

To me, philosophy is the origin of all (advanced) knowledge. The act of ruminating about a topic itself is prerequisite for the possibility to understand the depths of any topic. I wonder if people began to philosophize just to be able to manipulate things around them but then started to gain interest in more abstract concepts.
