After restoring my 2FA electrum wallet, I have not been able to get my wallet to synchronize and it has been at least a week already. I have 2.7.9 version of electrum and am not able to send any funds and get this error message when I try. This is a picture of what my electrum looks like.

Thank you in advance.

First, I would download the latest version which is 2.7.18 and see if that helps. You may also need to leave Electrum running for awhile for it to fully sync if you haven't ran it in awhile. Try leaving it running in the background to see if it catches up.

you need to download the "blockchain_headers" file located at
"C:\Users\{your username here}\AppData\Roaming\Electrum" on windows. that file is 34.6 MB these days, it is possible that you have internet speed problem.

try this: as above comment suggested upgrade to the latest version and let it download and sync it should be fixed.

also i have had a similar problem a very long time ago back in version 1 that the headers file was corrupted and could not be updated if you still couldn't update try removing ONLY "blockchain_headers" file.
