seeing how the port for the pool is 31742 i would expect a issue using 31744 oh my bad i see they had that port on the getting started page and not the main page

A few suggestions I'd make in regards to pool mining issues.

1. setup failover stratum for port you are mining on. i.e
stratum+tcp://nnc.mypool.name:31742
stratum+tcp://mypool.name:31742

2. Mine on the port which supports your hardware
(back-end pool configurations have banning setting that vary per coin and if your IP is profiled high submit rate you can be banned. This is an attempt to prevent what is called small DIFF stealing)

3. Add this string of text to your miner config --no-submit-stale
without it some miner software will display message (Stale Share Dectected -Submitted (user) - Too many of this will get you banned as well)
With this ARGUMENT added you should see (Stale Share Dectected - discarding)

Wolf0 XMR is nototious for submitting duplicate shares and I am not sure how to add this argument to it configuration file although most mining software has a help section. To view a list of help options in command prompt  type (sgminer --help)

Wallet has been updated from v1.011 to v2.
What does this mean? No you do not need to update your current wallet to the newer version however those who download Forknote v2 will be able to mine NNC, however mining through CLI is not done through wallet using (start_mining) instead you must:
1: Open miner in command line
2: miner --daemon-address localhost:31740 --address YOURWALLET --threads AMOUNTOFCPUSTOUS --log-level 5

Pre-compiled wallets will remain in OP.

That's way too low even if the coin has no special features. The total supply is rather low. Even though mining now pays a lot, this will not last for too long.

And the dev, for now at least seems active. I'm hoping that in the next 2 months or so if decent mining he will do something to make the coin stand out in some way.
