The country of India has been on the fence about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for a while. Whereas the idea was opposed at first, it now appears the local government thinks differently about peer-to-peer payment technology. A national summit will be held to discuss the state of cryptocurrency in India and what this means for the Indian economy. An intriguing development that could boost bitcoin adoption in the long run.

Definitely, We all know for a fact that a lot of Indians are only into bitcoins. And hosting a Summit there will definitely raise awareness of bitcoins in the country. Maybe Indian government will implement Blockchain because there is really a lot of potential in this technology.

this will be a step towards even more bitcoin adoption in India than before
the problem with India and its financial system is the prevalence of the paper money
the population of India is > 1 bil people-the second largest on Earth,yet there is only a small percentage
that are using anything other than the paper money,even atms and banks are hard to come by in some provinces
bitcoin could be one of the solutions to get the people of India to start trusting electronic money more
