I was a member of coinsbank signature campaign for 6-7 months and they have been very trustworthy. I used to have issues receiving the verification codes but they solved that issue too long back. Never had any issues with the deposits or withdrawals.

You can find the thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1426875.0

They have been advertising on the forums for two years, I have used them myself and I can't say anything bad about them expect the fact that the support takes time to answer in their thread so you better contact them on the website, their trading volume is also big enough to make you use their services and trust them for your money, not to mention the promotions they have from time to time.

Please Do not use Coins Bank. I made a withdrwal from my wallet at coinsbank by wire transfer. The wire failed because I entered my banks routing number in place of IBAN. I have struggled for 3 weeks to have coinsbank credit back my account to no avail. Once in a while they reply that they have contacted there bank to cancel the transaction but till now, they are still holding my $1217.00 plus $50.00 transfer fee. They do not answer there phone and they have no contact address here in the United States,

That's shocking as coinsbank has always paid out their users and resolved any problems faced by their users. Did you try contacting the user Coins_Bank? If not, try sending the user a message as he is quite active on the forum.

It's strange to see complaints about Coinsbank from accounts which have only one post in their history and one of accounts was made today only to post here. This is for you @Fed74 and @bravo1210. If Coinsbank really scammed you, you have to start scam accusation against them and provide proofs about scam. But I don't think that these users will come back to proove about scamming.

No one in the United States I know have withdrawn there money successful. Coinsbank have different stories for different people. It is a well crafted scam. After one month, they have not put back my $1,270.00 to my wallet after it failed to get to my bank by wire transfer transfer. They said 2 weeks ago that they have contacted their bank to return it. After that, they stopped replying to my chats and emails. COINSBANK IS definitely A SHADY SCAM. BEWARE!!

The trading volume is really big which makes it unlikely for them to try and scam you for such a little amount. If you didn't have any chance while trying to contact the support team from the website, I suggest trying posting on their official thread or P.Ming the O.P there.

What are they exactly?
I always thought they were like coinbase. A wallet attached to an exchange for simplicity.

So are the legitimate or have they turned scam?

This thread is very confusing cause I have always thought they were a company from the UK therefore had to abide by their rules in that jurisdiction. Undecided

I've always have been able to withdrawl bitcoins, but the first time I tried getting USD, I can into this. They are a UK company, so why they sent money from Turkey, I have no idea. They have never answered me in regards to that.
I don't think they are a scam, and this comes from a person still waiting over a month for funds. The problem is they screwed up my withdrawl and just won't admit it was their fault. They keep blaming western union
And since they feel they did.nothing wrong, unless they get the original funds back, they won't pay me
If they are UK company then I don't understand why the delay of up to a month with doing a withdrawal from your account with them.
Only thing I can think of if your account is not verified and they are withholding funds for that long because of them investigating something.
Better to get in touch with their support line and make sure you call them at their UK time to get ahold of somebody.
Or best thing to do would be to contact them by email.

CoinsBank is an organized fraud. Public be warned!!! People who tried to withdraw there money in USD or other conventional currencies had the whole money stolen by coins bank staffs. They dribble you all over the place through their so called support team till you give up. Read their reviews on their facebook page.

Coins bank is definitely an organized scam.  Coins Bank has no physical address and no real phone numbers. everything they represent is virtual. They posted a fake U.K. address just to deceive people. Their posted address is used by over 1,600 fictitious companies needing a UK address. They fan out their staffs to quickly respond to accusations here and muddy the water, just to keep luring people in and scamming them gradually, but when you complain to their support team, it takes over a week to get a response that is generic or off topic. My case with them have gone on since February 24, 2017 and I have refused to be shaken off. If I can save one unsuspecting individual from these thieves, them I feel accomplished. The volume of trade they have is irrelevant. What matters is how many people have fallen victim.  If they decide at anytime to turn off their servers and walk away with your money, you have no where to go look for them. They are the biggest scam since Enron. They posted that I was a one timer and wouldn't come back. Well here I am.

Are you going to leave it at that or share a bit more detail?

I've never really understood what they're about. No one ever mentions them yet they lay on things like that ghastly sounding blockchain cruise which must've cost a substantial amount.

They wanted to be one if the first cryptobank with a wallet, a card, and a built-in exchange, mobile app, etc. But I have never seen them popular around the crypto community, a lack of marketing strategy I suppose.
The few times I have seen them mentioned here it was about not happy with it.

It's a pretty decent exchange to be honest. Most of their volume is generated on the BTC/GBP pair, after that it's the BTC/EUR pair being the most popular. From the looks it's focused on Europeans mostly. Good thing is that they stick to the core principles of what has value in this space, but that obviously makes them less popular in the grand scheme of things.

They only have BTC and LTC to trade with; https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinsbank/
