Bitcoin7 post deleted?

A couple of days ago, there was a post by Nz3r0 (?) offering 1 BTC to anyone who signed up at bitcoin7.com.  Today, it seems that the topic was deleted, as well as user Nz3r0.  What happened?  Did anyone receive their 1 BTC? 

If this was a scam, either on N3zr0's part or that of bitcoin7, the bitcoin community needs to know that.  Conversely, if it wasn't as scam, we need to know that too.  Deleting the whole discussion and pretending it never happened does not serve the community.

Therein lies the 64k BTC question....

Culprits:

1) Bitcoin7
2) The user in question screwing around who had his own referral code linked. (I give this one high probability).
3) College kid pranskter (maybe high school in all fairness).
4) Competitor exchange trying to discredit them....

I'm sure there's more but #2 is high on my list.

Thanks.  If it's 2, 3 or 4, I'd be more inclined to give bitcoin7 the benefit of the doubt.  Not knowing, I'm very wary.

The scam was the user. Message Bitcoin7.com to have the referral cleared from your account.

Personally, I doubt bitcoin7 was behind it. If they were, that would imply that the whole site was set up for that purpose, and that just seems like a lot of work for a little con.

I agree that removing the post was a very imbecilic act and the post should be returned IMMEDIATELY or a detailed explanation should be given by the admin explaining why they feel it is in the communities best interest to be naive and uninformed in this matter. This is not the first act of censorship to take place on this forum and if it were not for the great community that exists here I would surely 100% move elsewhere.

I've put this on another thread but I'm going to put it here in fairness to Bitcoin7.

I have successfully transferred BTC to them and sold it. The USD showed up in my account.

I then transferred it to my Dwolla account and it showed up without a hitch.

I know there's a lot of skepticism and healthy criticism but we need fairness in this witch hunt!!!

Censorship is why Namecoin exists is it not? Just sayin'.

I was one of the first responders. Was never paid the 1BTC (obviously), so I'd say it's just a simple matter of that user lying about the 1BTC payment to get referrals. There is no evidence to suggest that bitcoin7.com (the website) had anything to do with this.

As a precaution, I emailed info@bitcoin7.com and requested that my account be closed. If in the future I require their services and if they have a better reputation, I may sign on again.
