When you searching "baikalminer" on your skype. you will find many scammers. Please simply right click that account before adding them, and click "View profile" and check its skype account.
**Official baikal account is "baikalminer", not "live：baikalminer" or "minerbaikal" or "sales baikalminer" or "baikalminers" or what ever. ** Please be sure youself understand this statements.

Or the safest way you can edit a code and send to our official email, ask us to copy that for you on skype.

Hello to all!
I also came to talk to this guy!
Searched for baikalminer - and two identical profiles came up (or so I thought!).
Got into a conversation with him and he claimed I could buy 1miner each (1Giant+1quadruple+1Mini) at a time/per month.
Obviously otherwise it will be obvious something fishy is going on!
He claims that he will ship out the same day - which is quite tempting for everyone, isnt it?
Fortunately I didnt have enough BTC in my wallet - and I got this morning from the real baikalminer profile at skype the message they were out of stock.
I was shocked and instantanously wanted to know more. The fake profile of course said, dont mind - we are just limiting orders to one person at a time!
Beware everyone - and doublecheck your sources!

The user that was legit (the real user according to the original post, has changed its name.

I ordered one Giant last Friday while the user still had the contact info for Baikal, just like the picture here said. I also sent an e-mail directly to the Baikal e-mail address to confirm that it was the correct user. I also got a confirmation by e-mail for the correct BTC address.

So I should hopefully be okay.


However, that same Skype user no longer has the contact information for Baikal. The user has changed the information to simply "mark david". Obviously, I wasn't talking to anyone called "Mark David" previously (I know because of the English) and I haven't gotten a response to my message that I sent to "him" today yet.

So be careful and hold off on contacting and buying from the Skype profile for a while! I will update this post and submit a new post if I get any more information.[/b]

To Baikal: You should absolutely look into this immediately!

Edit: They have replied and I am happy to announce that I was wrong. I was worried that their account might have been hacked but I am glad that is not the case.

 sometimes they need money for weekend
and then the explanation for all is that you talked to the wrong person and swore that the thief wasn't the original Baikal

Best thing to do is to buy from a distributor who let's you pay with PayPal or credit card - so you have record of having paid.

You might even need proof of purchase if your order gets held up in customs! 

There's a lot that can go wrong, and with everyone who still has stock having doubled the price per unit in the last few weeks, it's somewhat strange that Baikal is still offering units at 300 USD equivalent.

too bad it seems that even if you choose the correct logo, inside you can get scammed also, i had an example where by talking with one of the chinese, he said that the other chinese, which i meet always in that same chat, might be an impostor, because he was charging me way too lo for a a-900 giant, so be carefull, if they do a big discount they are scamming
