Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

They are however needed if you plan to use them as a site currency. POW would require us to pay for each coin that was generated and used on our website.

They have an outdated wallet and refuse to update. please refrain from purchasing coins from here at the current moment.
