Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

relatively sure...it's currently showing a balance of 120BTC.

Your not seeing this when you log into your BTC-e account?!

so when you log into your btc-e account...it's indicating that you don't in fact have 120BTC but whatever equivalent # of TRC at the time you sent over?

Yes when checking the funds section all are showing as Zero Sad

Ok...and can you confirm that you actually transferred the BTC from your gox account? And if so, that the address you sent it to belongs to one of your BTC-e accounts?  (again, could you confirm whether we are discussing LTC, or TRC since I'm still a bit confused on that point)

this is a bitcoin address that you sent your bitcoins to. It's most probably an address to which you don't have a private key. so you lost your 120 bitcoins...

Bolding because everyone seems to be ignoring me

BTC-e has the private key to that address. They just need to type dumpprivkey on their terracoind.

TRC and BTC share the same address's so a TRC Priv Key can be used to generate the same BTC address. Get that TRC Priv Key from btc-e as TradeFortress has said, and you'll be fine. Or, get them to just sweep that address and credit the 120 BTC to you btc-e account!

Agreed.  If BTC-e does not want to give you the key for whatever reason, perhaps they could add it to the Bitcoin wallet they are hosting for you, and then what you've already sent should get credited to your account and you can withdraw.

I emailed them numerous times. Since they thought I was new they tried to fob me off with "it's impossible"

I know it's not, yes I would like to call them but I can't find a number for them.
