good news the issue was resolved.

Just one question, would it be possible to happen the other way around (meaning TRC sent to BTC wallet)?

Of course. Although I'm not an expert, if TRC is using the same "space" as BTC, you could (theoratically)
have the same wallet for both of them. Nice mess.

I did the same mistake and my BTCs gone, ok that was my mistake but also it's about design of the BTC-e's deposit page. At least they can put a warning clause on the page. They had better warn people if it's possible to send BTC to TRC account via "WRONG ADRESS", it cost 150$ to learn this for me  Grin

at first they said "Unfortunately, we cannot return them to You. It is technically impossible."
and  I said them "if they want they can do" because I knew that they did it before.
after that they said "We will try to return them to you but does not guarantee that it will happen."
and of course they did nothing

Can you see that how professional they are...

He's a user who made a mistake that the exchange can easily fix. I can't see any reason for the "lol'ling".
