I personally am a fan of the Pow/Pos hybrid.

That way the more people staking, more pow blocks stolen and overall reduction in supply.

It's not about the 5% PoS.  It's about knowing whether we should count on there being 6,000,000 PoW coins or closer to 3,000,000 PoW coins.
