I think yes. Because millionaires and billionaires like to invest anywhere as long as they will get a profit. Imagine they are doing stock market but bitcoin is much better with that. With stock market you will just earn large if you will invest large but in bitcoin no because way back 2009 and compare it to now the price of bitcoin is pump so high and in terms of time the bitcoin surpass the stock market earning. So I think yes by pumping of bitcoin so high now I think big names participated in that by buying a large stock of bitcoin.

Sure, I would think that there are some very wealthy people who would have a stake in Bitcoin.

Remember that many of the very rich want to own a variety of investments, it's diversification.  At least some of these EXTREMELY WEALTHY people will own at least some.

Think!  Surely there would be a few in Silicon Valley and smart computer guys on Wall Street who would want own, say, $1,000,000 in Bitcoin.  Why not?  I would own $1,000,000 worth if I had a net worth of $100,000,000, what other investments out there have the possibility of growing MUCH faster than the stock market (etc.)?

I believe there are really big names are already invested on bitcoin. But it dont dont really matter to me. I really dont care about big names. Bitcoin can stand alone without them. They are just a decorations. I would like to see that bitcoin is accepted around the world. Thats enough for me.

Not only with bitcoin, with all sort of innovation at the initial stage none have trust or hope of success. Same happened with bitcoin in regard to the bog names. Now they've understood the strength it holds depending the technology. So not only the listed names, around the world lot might have made indirect investment through bitcoin.

correct mate, there's a people beyond aside from the big names listed as they see opportunity to have a good returned coming from this investment so even they are not showing their identity as how bitcoin works surely they already seeing that potentials and they already placing some good amount to test how big bitcoin can be.

I know that Warren Buffet said a couple years ago how bitcoin makes no sense, obviously showcasing how old and deprecated his investing decisions are when it comes to cutting edge technology.

But I can see guys like Soros getting involved and learning about it and secretly taking a position.

I can also see Donald Trump, which has appointed bitcoin guys in his team, holding some in his portfolio already.

When the ETF passes, I can see tons of Wall Street people joining in as well, with some serious investments beyond for testing purposes.

i have only two things to say to this.
when these guys publicly say or announce something it is not because they want the public to know what the hell they do, it has lots of other reasons. so when they say bitcoin doesn't make sense it may be because he wanted to buy cheaper coins. accumulate!
also bitcoin is still too small for some of these people that move around multi millions of dollar and make that much profit other ways.

Correct. As far as there is an opportunity on them, they would certainly take it. Millionares aren't affraid to lose money in order to try something. They can take the risk of something which would benefit them in the other hand. This is how they make money, they are always trying in order to earn something because if you are still scared of trying something, nothing will happen to you.

bitcoin is a bit of a high risk and unpredictable and it has been much harder to predict it before, that is why i say the chances of these guys investing in bitcoin in the past has been low. this may not continue to be true in the future though. specially as the market size grows.

You get high risk investments like Bitcoin and then you get low risk investments like gold. I think a lot of these guys have bought some bitcoins to toy around with, but will never admit to it, because Bitcoin has a bit of a reputation. They might say that they invested in Crypto currencies, but not in Bitcoin.

It is not too late for anybody to do bitcoin and start on earning some, even though they are people who are popular in this world, and even those ordinary people like the most of us can also invest money to bitcoin, because it is the best thing that anyone could do in their life. We don't if they are already invested in bitcoin but I'm sure that they will.

They are popular people and they know how popular bitcoin is, because of its solidity, and its value. They are rich people who wants money because that is the rich people do, they don't stop on earning money, that is why it is possible that they already invest some of their money on bitcoin, just my opinion.

No one actually knows on how many of them are already engaged or not earlier on 2014 speaking to bitcoin. There are investors which are wise enough to seek out good and have potential investments on longer years to come.

Yes Bitcoin has and will produce some new millionaires, but this will not bother the old ones and is no threat to them. Most of them made their money with something they can reproduce to make more money. For example if you produce a good to sell it and this way become rich, then you can produce more to gain wealth. But if you just bought/mined Bitcoin at a very cheap price, then you can not do this again, so if you lose/spend your money then this is it. And here is the next problem. Most of the old rich guys have had money for quite some time and know how to handle it. The new rich Bitcoiners are new to this and more likely to end up with nothing.

those famous people that you mention maybe is already involve in bitcoin industry but they don't make any statement for this, i think if they are really join, they want to keep secretly so there are no other people that they are inside. its best for them to remind silence so they can learn more about bitcoin and take the profit for their purpose.

Of course the big names were already involved, and they would not like to be Known in public it's obvious, one is this guy's would have made several off Shore accounts and they would have made quite a lot of money in Bitcoin as it leaves no Paper trail and no one can catch the owner. Secondly if they would have made it public they would have been harassed by the authorities and would have exposed them to hacking risks. I strongly feel this guy's are there but they have hidden themselves and they are making a crazy amount of money and with this etf Bitcoin price is shooting right through the moon for all of us and they will profit but we will never know.

I think they are involved secretly.  Big names are smart enough not to let an opportunity to pass by.  If they see it they grab it.  That is the reason why they have this big names anyway.  They are doing it in silence because they are smart not to alarm this government so that they can get the profit 100%.

Of course, they are so smart,that's why they had big names.Aside of having a big names, they have a power through the use of money.The rich people would still have to invest anywhere for very wealthy. That was a long time ago. After 2014, many big names have shown interest in Bitcoin and those who make money from money have already in Bitcoin market from some time now. They won't come out open coz of Bitcoin's volatility or the negative news of Bitcoins but trust me, they are there.

What is more important to me is the volume of investors that the volume invested and with that, I do not need to know if there are big names that has invested with bitcoin. By simply looking at the price movement, you can analyze that there is a good volume of adopters that are coming, we should see that as a big thing that will make the price continue to rise.

The mention of those names and BTC in one sentence really made me laugh so hard. I dont know if you are joking or lack the reasoning for thinking those businessmen will be investing in BTC. They hate BTC because it stands on the opposite side of where theyre standing. I wont count them out however. Their greed will make them do things that are illogical for them. Like investing in BTC.

Or maybe, saw profit school, but then, it is not large profits, and with the rich as they are, they will not care about it, so, they were ignored. and I think, they will not regret it, because they can make that amount at any time
