What are the requirements to be "Escrow"?

I see people working as "Escrow" in the forum. These people work like a kind of brokerage house in their bitcoin payments. And they get commission from the transactions made. I know that reliability is very important for this.

But who gives the title "Escrow"? Is there anyone authorized for this job?

You have to be trusted is the only qualifier. The people who are most used for Escrow have been here for years, done dozens of trades and have built up a decent reputation around the forum. Even then, people have abused their position of Escrow and stolen money, so you should still be wary. I don't think there are any official Escrow titles, as that would imply they are endorsed by the forum. Very few escrows are actually needed and all the deals could probably be handled by less than 10 organised people.

There's no official/authorized job, from what I know. All they need is a highly trusted Bitcointalk account.
The idea is that such account worth a lot (if somebody would sell that, heh). They do this to help the community, not only to earn some money. But if they screw it up, they'll get negative trust and their reputation and account will worth nothing.

There are sites that work like escrow (I've heard of bitrated, never tried it out yet), but for now I would still trust more the established escrows from this forum.

Everyone is authorized to be a escrow but if you offering escrow service you must be a trusted one and you must be responsible to every transaction that you involved.

As far as I know, many people hang out here anonymously. As you said, even people who are 100% safe can make a lot of mistakes for bitcoin.

No there identities are not usually known and it is not required.
Escrow are usually members who have proved their integrity by doing various fair trades here.
It is based on a trust system.With time and continuous fair deals the get lots of positive trust (numbers shown in green below their username) making their account valuable.
For example if someone's account is worth 1 btc due to all good rep he has,he would obviously not scam anyone for say 0.5 btc.
This is not to say that he will cheat for more than 1 btc
The point here is that an escrow is safe for an amount his account is worth of.

Not only reliability,your trust and reputation do counts.Basically,you should be known enough for carrying out high volume trades with members on the forum.You may disregard that and still offer your services but who'd you think will use you for an escrow when they better options around ?

You give yourself that title when you're confident about people not having problems with it.Like start a thread offering escrow services and you shall know what I'm talking about.

If you're thinking of trying to become an escrow at Member level then I'm sorry but you should stop right there.
Only very trusted users who have been here a long time succeed as an escrow, even then I've seen supposed trustworthy people abuse that position here.

Not actually a requirement but, you can make a thread that introduces all about yourself, your jobs if you have the capability to handle big transactions, where do you live, what is your business if you have, your account must be in high rank and have reputation in this forum in short you have to build trust first.

You have to be trusted to make an escrow service. First of all you can do is gain your positive trust. How to get positive trust? Go to marketplace sections and try to buy or sell some goods or services. If you face good partners you will get it (positive feedback from them).
This is an anonymous forum, but how can a lot of money spinning here? Positive trust and recommendation from other users is the best asset if you want to offer some services that involve money without real identity.

Yeah, I really don't see a way for a complete newbie to gain entrance into this current circle of escrowing. I would think the best route is to start off as a user offering paid services and to gain trust that way. Then to act as a conduit for others selling similar services. Otherwise, scout around the forum for people offering small services for small fees, offer a free escrow first to gain trust?

Usually we need to have positive trust but here I seen some persons who are offering there service of escrow .
I mean if you will see that here if new campaign is started then sometimes avirune ( named user ) got job manager as an escrow .
Since avirune has no trust at his profile .
So we can say it is overall reputation only which didn't need any green or trust digit .

Being an escrow means you are trusted by the community and they trust that you will not run away with the money and you will exercise complete neutrality in deciding cases. Start from zero or nothing. You need to gain fame from your transactions it's not an instant but you can do it as time pass by. You need areputation to be an escrow and of course a high rank for people will be more attractive to people will transact with you. The good reputation is the key to ba an escrow so you need to start making transactions now to gain the reputation needed to be an escrow.

You yourself will be the one t entitle yourself as an escrow but it is upto the community in here if they will use your service. Like what they have already mentioned, before you can start you first must have to prove that you are a trustworthy person and that you are transparent enough to know that you will not do shady stuffs when it comes to handling other peoples money and items.
