Author Topic: Is Yobit Scam? My account has been locked for more than 2 weeks  (Read 564 times)

Here i would like to tell that my yobit account has been banned for more than 2 weeks.
My username: yongki has been freezed.

I dont know where to ask, i write in here.

Im using Yobit as my broker for my business (i am exchanger) and recently starting this month my several account got locked because of Edinar. I used many edr wallet to make deposit and put into my yobit account.

After got locked, i sent pm to support to ask why my account is locked and the answers is because i abuse EDR`s terms
And the asked me to send a verification data include passport, selfie holding passport, facebook link, and etc.

You're not the only one in this situation and I don't understand the following:
1) Why is Yobit trying to enforce ToS or whatever it is that was abused from other services?
2) Why do they think it is their right to just lock up someones money?

I know at least 2 other users with similar issues. I also don't understand what exactly was abused on Edinarcoin. What did you do?

Hi Lauda,

I did nothing, i am exchanger and of course i will be using more than 1 edr wallet and deposited to yobit using more than 1 edr wallet.
I also didnt aware edinar changed their terms (1 ip address max for 2 account)  and suddenly my account got frezeed

And new pm from yobit, they asked me to send a proof that edr un-locked my account. this is insane

So, when you started using edinar, i.e. at the time of creation of those accounts, there wasn't this restriction (maximum of 2 accounts per IP)? If this is true, this makes the whole case even more absurd.

And new pm from yobit, they asked me to send a proof that edr un-locked my account. this is insane
I don't see why that would matter to the status of your Yobit account.

Yes thats true, no restriction at all.
I need more advice on my case.

They haven't responded over 24 hours even though I've only asked nicely for their part of the story. They have logged in at least once since I've sent this message. I'll wait maybe for another 24-48 hours.
