Hello,

When I try to launch the bitminter client found on their website under tools it fails to work.
I think this might have something to do with the latest Java version - Java 7 update 21 - which is installed on my computer, because when I tried it on a different computer which had Java 7 update 9 installed I had no difficulties launching the client...
I'm new to this so I might be wrong, I just don't know...
I hope someone can help me out!

Thanks

I installed the previous java version and it still does'nt work, I still get the same error.
I contacted support yesterday but they have not replied (yet)..
Maybe someone could contact DrHaribo for me? He is the developer of BitMinter and is registered on this forum, but because I am a newbie I can only post in this section.

Thanks

Solved!
AVG Anti-Virus had to be temporarily shut down.

But now there's another issue:

After opening the bitminter client I get the following message:
No OpenCL-compatible GPU's detected
Lacking OpenCl-support. If you want to use GPU's, please install the latest drivers
from your graphics card manufacturer

I have Windows Vista, NVIDEA Go 7600
I allready downloaded the latest drivers for the NVIDEA Go 7600 from the NVIDEA website,
but I am still getting the same message.

all suggestions are welcome
